An entity surrounded by their environment is a universal concept, whether it is from what we call reality or in the realm of the sub-conscious. In my work, I explore biomorphic forms accompanied by images based on memories of place that create surrealistic landscapes and tell a story. Largely autobiographical in nature I implore universal concepts such as being, knowing, substance, identity, time, and space. Through the juxtaposition of memories, I construct an abstract tableau. The reality is often ambiguous, whimsical yet thought provoking. I am creating surrealistic atmospheres about human existence.
